My life as of late has been a quest for the acquisition of Wisdom, and although I find the most insightful wisdom to be achieved through reflection, I took the opportunity to ask brusquely for it from "Burners" when I was granted an Honorarium art grant from the Burning Man Art Management Department and delivered to the "playa" (desert) for the Burning Man event for the first time this past year. It was the greatest experience and awakening I have thus far experienced, and although what I took home from "home" (as Burners call the event) was far more profound than what you will find in these pages, I can give freely to any reader the wisdom, whimsical or otherwise, that Burners gave freely to me whilst there. The book is made to survive the harsh desert environment, where conditions there might tear a normal book apart.
