This book was inspired by the Active Minds club at UCF. Active Minds strives to eliminate stigma about mental disorders. This book is symbolic of someone with depression. The binding on the side of the book that keeps the book closed is the social stigma that keeps people with depression from sharing how they feel. The miasmic design on the cover reflects the turmoil inside of a person.
