Description
Inspired by the Japanese stab stitching technique “Kikko Toji”, I chose to play with the idea of sharp objects and stabbing. Sharp Objects Can Stab You is a one of a kind picture book with original illustrations and is meant to be enjoyed in a humorous macabre manner. This ten page stab bound book is filled with labeled illustrations of sharp objects that could possibly stab you. I chose to house the book in a slide box with a knife cut out that showcases the artist paper through for dramatic effect.
I hope you enjoy this handmade stab bound book, I do however have one request of the reader. Please exercise caution and watch your fingers…this can be one dangerous picture book.
