Description
Huck’s Landing, Inc. was a venture of Tom Carter Enterprises to develop a major family-oriented recreation complex in Las Vegas, Nevada, for which the company was under negotiations for an 80-acre site at a prime Las Vegas Stripe location. As envisioned, the project was to include: a 1000 room hotel with casino, a themed retail center, 60 lane bowling alley, a special use theater facility, a large games arcade, two miniature golf courses, a “Showboat” restaurant, roller skating rink, and a 20-25 acre $50 million water-oriented recreation facility to be known as Huck’s Landing, themed around Mark Twain’s 1860s America. While the project was studied extensively in-house, Huck’s Landing, Inc. desired an independent assessment of the attendance potential associated with each of the major components. Further, the issue of parking requirements at the site needed to be addressed. To assist in these critical areas of planning, the Harrison Price Company was retained to prepare market support and attendance projections, leading to a determination of parking needs. The report has the following sections: 1) introduction, 2) executive summary, 3) site and market analysis, 4) estimated attendance and parking requirements. The report includes 26 tables of data.
