The collection contains various types of ephemera relating to the Caribbean area and South America. Series I consists of materials related to the islands in the Western portion of the Caribbean including Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Jamaica and Puerto Rico. Series II consists of materials related to the islands in the Eastern portion of the Caribbean (the Windward Islands) including Barbados, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago, as well as Dominica. Series III consists of various maps of the West Indies, South America, and North America. Some of the maps are reproductions of the originals.
