The British Colonial Hotel, now the British Colonial Hilton Hotel, is located on the site of Fort Nassau which was demolished in 1837. By 1900, Henry Flagler had built the original Colonial Hotel, the only beachfront hotel in Nassau, which was destroyed by fire. A Mediterranean-style replica opened in 1922. The hotel offers views of Nassau Harbor and was the location for two James Bond movies. In the picture, a man is walking from the hotel along a walking path decorated with large stone vases and benches. Slide labeled Bryant Nassau Mar .'46, British Colonial Hotel.
