This Victorian style mansion was built in 1881 by the Honorable David Gideon, a former Custos of Portland and member of the Legislative Council of Jamaica. This mansion, now a hotel, is constructed with a red brick exterior and features ornate cast iron balconies. Eleanor Friend Sleight, pictured, with yellow Ford Cortina automobile in Port Antonio, Portland, Jamaica. Two children walk on the side walk. Slide labeled Jam. Port Antonio Hotel.
