The red and white striped Folly Point Lighthouse was built in 1888 at the tip of the Folly Peninsula, near Port Antonio, Portland, Jamaica. The Tower is constructed of masonry and is fire proof. It flashes a white light of two seconds duration followed by eight seconds of darkness. The light is visible for a distance of thirteen miles. In the background is a one-story white house. Slide labeled Port Antonio Jamaica.
