Tower Isle Hotel was originally built in 1949, by founder Abraham ‘Abe’ Issa, as the first year-round resort on the Central North coast of Jamaica. Eventually, Issa earned the nicknamed “Mr. Jamaica” and later became the first chairman of the Jamaica Tourist Board. Tower Isle was later renamed Couples Tower Isle. The hotel, pictured, is surrounded by palms and is built near the shoreline. Tourists can be seen on the beach while boats are anchored in the ocean. Slide labeled Tower Isle.
