Saint John, a mountainous island, is one of the three islands that make up the United States Virgin Islands. The highest point in Saint John is the peak of the Bordeaux Mountain, at 1,269 feet (387 meters) above sea level. More than half of Saint John makes up the Virgin Islands National Park, which is run by the United States National Park Service. In this image is a view of the peaks of mountain ranges in Saint John. In the foreground are papaya and various other trees. In the central portion of the image are residential houses or a resort with winding roads. Slide labeled From top of St Johns.
