This image features tourists and local residents gathered on the docks in Kingstown, Saint Vincent. The gathered group is watching a steel pan band playing in front of the Steamship Regina. The band and ship cannot be seen in this image, however a view of the entire scene can be seen on image 80:14 of this collection. Among the crowd is a boy scout from the Scout Association of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). SVG was officially formed in 1911 as an overseas branch of The Scout Association (United Kingdom). In 1990, SVG became a member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. Also in the image are three police officers from the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force. One officer is wearing a white tunic with white striped black pants and a white helmet. Two officers, in the distance, are wearing khaki shirts and pants and a khaki cap with a black band. In the water are three boys in a row boat. In the distance is a view of city of Kingstown, Saint George, Saint Vincent. Slide labeled St. Vincent Harbor, Feb. 1968.
