The Royal Botanic Gardens of Trinidad and Tobago, first opened in 1818, are located on the northern side of Queen’s Park Savannah in Port of Spain, Trinidad. In this image a park guide points out a mahogany tree, growing near a paved path, to a visitor. Hibiscuses, bougainvilleas, and palm trees can be seen. Slide labeled Mahogany Tree Trinidad.
