In 1922, the Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture (ICTA) was founded in Saint Augustine, Trinidad after a merger between the Imperial Department of Agriculture and the West Indian Agricultural College. In 1960, the College was incorporated as the Saint Augustine campus of the University College of the West Indies, now known as the University of the West Indies (UWI). Today, the original ICTA building, pictured, houses the administration building for the UWI Saint Augustine campus. The image also shows the construction of another building in the distance. In front of the administration building are two parked automobiles. Slide labeled Trin. 6.
