Description

Black and white Black Americana postcard in caricature style. Front: features a man in hole with shovel, looking up a woman's dress. Entitled "This is no place for a nervous person". Back: has not been postmarked but has been written on. Numbered "Series No. 55". Stereotyped images of black people were featured in prints, postcards and many other items at that time.
