An antique postcard featuring a young African American girl with scarf, smiling holding a watermelon. Front: printed "This am no lemon". Back: With one cent US postage. Stereotyped black dialect and images were used in depicting black people at that time. Postcard mailed to "Mr. Raleigh". Stamped "2PM 27 OCT 1910 ILL".
