Advertising Trade Card by Runge & Schacht Wine and Lunch Room in New York in the Civil War era. Consisting of 2 pages (front & back). Front has color illustration of a loose donkey and some enslaved African American people including four children in the field. Caricatures and stereotyped images of black people were featured in advertisements, prints and many other items at that time.
