On 6/27/1928 disinterred 8 bodies of African American heritage from county burying ground on Overstreet Land Co. Land in Conway. The remains were removed to the African American section of Greenwood Cemetery in Orlando, FL. The bodies moved included: John McPherson, P. P. Spain, Daisy Spain, Infant John Simmons, Infant of Dock Vann, Will Smith, Hattie Hancock, and Hugh McFattin.
