Description

Black and white photograph of the Sanford minor league baseball team posed for a team photograph inside a baseball stadium. Behind the players is the multi-level stadium, with male and female spectators prepared to watch the game. The baseball team is dressed in their uniforms, which have a large letter 'S' on the front of them. At some point someone wrote numbers in pen on each person, giving the names and the positions of the players on the back. The back of the photograph reads, "1. J. Culbreath, Inf.; 2. Cal Dennis, P.; 3. Roy Harrison, O. F.; 4. 'Tige' Minor, P.; 5. B. Chapman, C.; 6. P. Bonner, S. S.; 7. B. Maxwell, O. F.; 8. Abbott, O. F.; 9. Joe Barnes, 1B; 10. Otis Curry, P.; 11. J. Newcomb, O. F."
