Description

An elegant banquet celebrating the 50 years of ministry provided by the Lutheran Haven since its establishment in 1948 was held at the Holiday Inn, near UCF, on November 6. It marked the culmination of many months of special events and projects planned by Jubilee Co-chairmen, Steve Cecchetti (Haven Development Director) and Judy Duda throughout 1998. Both were recognized for their efforts with the presentation of commemorative plaques during the banquet. program. For 50 years the Lutheran Haven had produced a special "Christmas seal" each year as a fundraising project. The 1998 seal was unveiled and enlarged copies were provided to guests as mementos of the Jubilee celebrations.
