Description
This pamphlet was given to guests who attended Mary McLeod Bethune's funeral. It provides names of active and honorary pallbearers. Active pallbearers included George W. Engram and John Dickerson. Honorary pallbearers included James Roosevelt, son of Franklin Delano and Eleanor Roosevelt, Texas A. Adams, Edward Van Poole, and Ralph Bunche. It also gives the program for the service, including scripture readings, eulogies, and hymns. A statement of gratitude for the expression of sympathy is on the back cover. The pamphlet includes a portrait of Mary McLeod Bethune on its front.
