Description
A college yearbook printed in black and white, which commemorated the previous school year's events at Bethune-Cookman College. The yearbook includes lists of faculty and staff, officers of administration, and members of the Board of Trustees. Class rosters for the Senior and Freshmen college class, and high school and junior high class, as well as class portraits for each student, can also be found here. Numerous photographs also appear for activities such as sports and college buildings, and student clubs and organizations. A message from Mary McLeod Bethune may be found on page 8. A page is dedicated to Mary McLeod Bethune's grandson, Albert McLeod Bethune, Jr., who was named the ""Wildcat Mascot."" Advertisements for local businesses can also be found at the back of the catalog. It is important to note that Colonel Theodore Roosevelt, son of President Theodore Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt, is listed as a member of the Board of Trustees. Members of the Advisory Board included Lady Armstrong, wife of jazz musician Louis Armstrong; Miss Jane Addams, Chicago, Illinois; and Francis Reynolds Keyser, New York, New York.
