Description
In commemoration of the congregation's 100th Anniversary in 2012, a new musical work was commissioned. The result was a "Hymn Concertato for SATB Chorus, Organ, Brass and Tympani," entitled, "Your Word Brought Forth The Universe." The text was written by Steven P. Mueller and the music was composed by William R. Brusick, both well-known hymnists. The hymn was sung by the congregation at worship services during the Centennial year and special arrangements were performed by St. Luke's adult choir (under the direction of James Coe) and St. Luke's Orchestra (director, Scott Baumer)
