Description

Account book for the Society of Pine Needles, of which Clara Louise Guild was treasurer. The members of the society include: Miss Alice Bragdow, President; Sallie W. Brownell, Secretary (1879); Alice E. Guild, Aid; Clara Louise Guild, Treasurer; Nettie Elms; Grace Eustis, Secretary (1880); Etta Morse; Cora Pike; Mabel Pond; Ella Pronty; Minnie Pronty; Lina Smith; Ritta Wilson; Emma Le Fevre; Emma Morse; and Cora Bailey. Account book contains a list of members, membership assesments for 1879 and 1880, cash received at each meeting, accounting of materials sold, cash paid out, donations, an added article declaring that the Mission Circle (Pine Needles auxiliary to the the Woman's Board) have paid said expenses, and a letter to Alice Guild offering a vote of thanks from the Society. Clara Louise Guild was in the Society of Pine Needles while she was living in Boston, Massachussetts.
