Description
Travel guide for Orlando put out by the Orlando Chamber of Commerce detailing: theatres, sports-recreation, fishing, churches, beauty shops, jewelers, hardware stores, drug stores, book stores, men's stores, veterinarians, civic clubs, ladies's wear, millinery, florists, civic clubs, etc. Also includes advertising, a map of Orlando, and articles on things to do. The travel guide is published weekly. Bound serial containing the volumes for the year of 1933. A.P. Phillips, Editor and Publisher; Harry Fitzgerald, Fishing Editor. Cover image is an origianl watercolor entitled "The Chief" by Jose Arentz. The image depicts an indian chief wearing a garment decorated by swastikas. The symbol of the swastika is an ancient symbol dating back over 3,000 years denoting good luck and prosperity. The symbol was appropriated and altered by the Nazis as a symbol of their party.
