Description
Emma Custis interviews Jarod Kaltenbaugh, a 20-year-old junior student that studies Material Sciences Engineering via Zoom about the impact of COVID-19 on his life. Kaltenbaugh opens with his involvement with the UCF Quidditch team inspired by J.K. Rowling’s novels. The significant change was the COVID-19 related changes on the UCF Quidditch team that altered practice and attempts at gathering as an official RSO. Jarod shares some of his involvement within Student Government as a senator. Jarod also discusses his dorm life as well which changed due to the COVID-19. Overall, Jarod outlines the severity of the virus and cautions people about practicing social distancing and other regulations outlined by campus and the CDC.
