Abstract
In complex construction projects, acquiring knowledge on construction workers’ activities can help increase productivity and safety. Using smartphone built-in accelerometers and gyroscope sensors, activities can be predicted. The objective of this study is to predict basic daily activities of construction workers by finding patterns in data collected using the sensors and from certain activities such as hammering, drilling and shoveling through the use of smartphone built-in sensors
