Abstract
Feminism has faced criticism since its inception. However, if you believe in advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equity, then there should be no concern. Nonetheless, the feminist movement one could make the argument the movement failed women because the narrative benefits only some women. Thus, there is strong need for intersectional feminism calling for more inclusion. Intersectional feminism no longer have to choose between issues related to sex. The earliest call for this action was Sojourner Truth’s rebuke Ain’t I a Woman. This call for action is even more present as women’s issues are still inequitable. Our foremothers need activist to continue organizing and mobilizing in the 21st century.
