During the 2019 Zora Neale Hurston Festival, we spoke with Dr. Pamela McCauley. Dr. McCauley is a nationally recognized speaker, author, and a tenured Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems at the University of Central Florida where she leads the Human Factors in Disaster Management Research Team.
This episode is part of the Every Tongue Got to Confess podcast series, which is produced by Dr. Julian Chambliss (Michigan State University) and Holly Baker (University of Central Florida). The podcast series consists of interviews with participants in the annual Zora Neale Hurston Festival of the Arts and Humanities.
The purpose of the podcast series is to explore the experiences and stories of communities of color through the words of Festival attendees.
