Abstract
Hypersensitivity pneumonitis, associated with heating/cooling systems may be an important clinical component of the "Tight Building Syndrome." This disease state is difficult to diagnose due to confusion with other upper respiratory infections. The early recognition of possible causative agents and implementation of specific environmental counter measures form the basis for adequate control and prevention of such outbreaks.
