    Abstract

    A new type of single-stage single-switch converter with low output voltage and power factor correction is proposed. The lower turns ratio for the isolation transformer is the main feature. The proposed converter is suitable for designing high efficiency, high power factor and low cost power supplies for new generation high-speed integrated circuits.
