    Abstract

    Motivated by accreditation agencies, public concern, and NCAA standards, many campuses have adopted programs to ensure the academic success of collegiate athletes. This article describes a library-based instructional module developed at the University of Central Florida for freshman athletes. The development and implementation of the B1 sessions are discussed.
