    Abstract

A linear temperature dependence between -70 degreesC and +70 degreesC is reported for the peak stimulated emission cross section of Nd3+ ions in both yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) and gadolimum. scandium gallium garnet (GSGG). (C) 2002 Optical Society of America.
