    Abstract

    This paper describes the application of the finite-difference time-domain method (FDTD) for calculating the active reflection coefficient of finite-sized phased array antennas consisting of microstrip elements fed with coaxial probes. The main contribution of this work is the determination of the active impedance for different scan conditions.
