Abstract
In this paper, coupling characteristics of dual-core photonic crystal fiber (PCF) are studied extensively using vector finite element method, which has the potential to realize wavelength selective MUX-DEMUX for wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) application. Dispersion characteristic is also reported and demonstrates the wavelength region where it can support short duration soliton like pulses.
