    Abstract

    This article analyzes academic research from the International Journal of Hospitality Management (IJHM), as it applies to the dimension of the management process related to the Research Methodologies proposed by Ritchie [1987. Roles of Research in Tourism Management. In: Ritchie, J.R.B, Goeldner, C. (Eds.), Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality Research. Wiley, New York, pp, 13-22]. This analysis provides insight on the evolution in to an empirical journal with highly sophisticated methodologies and procedures.
