Photo Description

Two adults, a man and a woman, standing on the porch of their house with seven children, one of whom is being held by the woman. This is most likely a family. This house looks like it takes influence from multiple styles of the Cracker house architecture, particularly the single pen and dog-trot styles. The steep roof, the simple shape of the house, and a broad porch are all details attributed to the single pen style, while the lack of front door and double chimneys attached to gables at opposite ends of the house can be attributed to the dog-trot style.
