An elderly man and woman, and a young man, most likely family, standing in front of a house that is presumably theirs. With them are three dogs and a bird cage with a bird inside. The house is large and two-story, built on stilts like many houses in Florida at this time. The large porch is mostly covered by plants. Behind the elderly woman and young man is a small enclosure of chicken wire and small wooden planks surrounding a plant. There is also another plant surrounded by an enclosure, this one made only of chicken wire.
