Abstract
This research project is funded by the Natural Resource Defense Council (NRDC). The objective is to expand the capabilities of the EnergyGauge Summit program to provide energy performance evaluation for residential buildings in Shanghai. The expanded capabilities will meet the requirements provided by Shanghai Real Estate Scientific Research Institute (SRESRI). The revised software can automatically generate reference buildings for rated buildings, perform evaluations under Chinese Windows operating system environments, and provide rating reports similar to that of the existing RESNET program.
