Abstract
This document is a compilation of the work conducted by the Building America Industrialized Housing Partnership (www.baihp.org) on the DOE report that summarizes research results for the 30% energy savings level (compared to the BA benchmark) in the Hot Humid Climate. BAIHP is led by the Florida Solar Energy Center of the University of Central Florida. As a co-author of that report, BAIHP was assigned technical writing tasks. BAIHP researchers edited the 2006 report for 30% savings for the Mixed Humid climate to reflect experience in the Hot Humid climate and worked with builder partners to produce original community scale case studies including neutral cost analysis and stage gate criteria evaluation.
