About This Journal
Students in Interdisciplinary Studies draw on multiple domains of knowledge and experience unique educational paths. At the University of Central Florida, the Interdisciplinary Studies program focuses on the development of creative and critical thinking skills required to address complex problems and issues. Students learn to cultivate multiple perspectives and integrate them into innovative insights and solutions. This journal highlights notable work from students in the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, a program encompassing majors including personalized interdisciplinary studies, environmental studies, and integrative general studies.
Inside Out: Interdisciplinary Studies is a platform for students with an interest in interdisciplinarity. The journal seeks to help students gain experience as both creators and producers of interdisciplinary work. Whether through the written word, visual art, or multimedia, Inside Out welcomes interdisciplinarity in all forms. Students interested in contributing, editing, or publishing are encouraged to reach out at Sharon.Woodill@ucf.edu
