About This Journal

The Journal of the Florida Association of Teacher Educators (JFATE) is a scholarly journal published by the Florida unit of the Association of Teacher Educators (ATE). The Journal aims to stimulate discussion and reflection centered on teacher education at all levels. The Journal publishes original theoretical, conceptual, and research articles, as well as brief reports that stimulate debate and contribute to the knowledge of teacher education. The Journal intends to be the premier outlet for authors to submit teacher education research in the state of Florida. However, potential authors do not need to be based in Florida and research does not need to be conducted in Florida for manuscripts to be considered for publication. The Journal is supported by an editorial board comprised of top teacher education scholars. The journal publishes articles in a digital format and open access online, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or institution. Users are allowed to read, download, print, or link to the full texts of the articles, without asking prior permission from JFATE. Please see the policies and procedures a complete explanation of copyright and permissions.

JFATE is hosted by the University of Central Florida.
