Since 1988, The Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Journal of Florida Literature has published material relevant to the life, works, and friends of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Yearling and many other widely respected and beloved works, including Cross Creek, Cross Creek Cookery, South Moon Under, and Golden Apples.
The Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Journal of Florida Literature publishes articles, creative fiction and poetry, book reviews, notes in the spirit of or regarding the life and work of Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, her circle, and other authors who use the state of Florida as a source of creativity.
The Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings Journal of Florida Literature provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. There are no publication charges, and all content is freely available without charge to the user or their institution.
