Abstract
A method of forming composite anti-reflective (AR) sol gel-derived coatings includes a first chalcogenide compound sol and forming a second chalcogenide compound sol. The first and second sol are mixed to form a mixed sol. The mixed sol is thermally treated at a maximum temperature of no more than 100 degrees C for (i) drying the mixed sol to form a composite gel and (ii) removing OH species from the composite gel to form a highly amorphous state AR coating.
