Description
During this unit, students will explore National Holidays including the Fourth of July, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Earth Day, and Groundhog Day through children's literature, hands-on activities and their own student booklet. Students will engage with primary sources to compare holidays in the past with holidays in the present as well as try their hand at being a reporter using a digital app!
