Abstract
During this unit, students will explore the concepts of rules, laws, and community heroes through activities such as games, read-alouds, and role play. Students will learn about the importance of rules in society, the role of laws in keeping communities safe, and the ways in which community heroes such as police officers and firefighters contribute to the well-being of others.
