To the left of the carriage stands a woman wearing a large hat. On the porch a woman sits in a chair shielding her eyes from the sun. To her right another man and woman stand near the edge of the porch. The house is two stories, with elements of the Cracker house style such as the porch being covered by an overhanging roof. The house is also slightly raised.
