Abstract
Letter dated December 9, 1680 (November 29, 1680 Old Style) from Amos Strettell to Phineas Pemberton about a man who has run away and mention of debt.

Lo: [Loving] ffriend [friend]
After my kind Love to thee, [you] wife, & [and] Rest of ffriends [friends]
with you: these are to desire thee [you] to deliver to ye [the]
bearer hereof Joshua Lomax these papers I sent thee [you]
concerninge [concerning] A man that run Away from Dublin
in Thomas Shackery & [and] some other peoples [people’s] debt.
soe [so] this man comes over to Looke [look] After him soe [so]
I desire thee [you] give him them papers; my unkle [uncle]
Atherton & [and] Aunt; remember their Love to thee [you] & [and]
ffreinds; [friends] ffreinds [friend] here Are generally well, I desire
thee [you] let us here [hear] how Thou [you] disposes of thy [your] tallowe [tallow]
