Two letters on one page dated March 10, 1697 (February 28, 1696 Old Style) from Constant Shield and John Hobson to Phineas Pemberton. The top letter from Constant Shield concerns debts owed by James Harrison. The bottom letter from John Hobson informs Phineas of Thomas Janney's death. Details about Janney's death include the date of his death and burial, as well as the place of his burial.
