The 13th 9/mo [month] 1700
my deare [dear]
yester day [yesterday] I writ [wrote] to thee [you] by Saml Jenings [Samuel Jennings] afore [before] I
writ [wrote ] by Jos Keikbride [Joseph Kirkbride] & [and] by wm [William?] Biles besids [besides] other letters
but I forgot by Joseph Keikbride [Joseph Kirkbride] to tell thee [you] I had bespoke
a girl for a maid for thee [you] if ^he^ has brought her up Receive
her, if he be Comn [coming] back from Philadelphia & [and] bring [crossed out: her]
her not, aftore [after] this Comes to hand enquire [inquire] of him
about her, I doubt it will be the middle of the next
weeke [week] afore [before] I get home if I Come not home afore [before]
send down the horse dayly [daily] by Tho: [Thomas?] about the time of
high water at Buckingham next 4th day & [and] so dayly [daily] till [until]
I Come this Comes by the Governers. Smith & [and] I doubt will
not Come to hand untill [until] the first day next except
Abigaile [Abigail Pemberton] take care about it who has had the oppertunity [opportunity]
& [and] given me no account of your wellfaire [wellfare] I am
indiferent [indifferent] well & [and] Long to be with thee [you] wch [which] I hope
will be ere [here] Long & [and] that makes the time more Long
untill [until] it Come , lett [let] George give the Cattle a small -
matter of hay In Cold mornings Let they shrink too
much on a suddane [sudden] I think thou [you] must hast [hasten] the death of
the Bullock he will shrink I Conclude as I usualy [usually] do in
hast [haste] thine [your] in endeared Love
