Abstract

Letter dated July 8, 1681 (June 28, 1681 Old Style) from Phineas Pemberton to Phebe Pemberton. A portion of the letter concerns an illness that befell Phineas in [Dunkirk] before he entered London, where he is staying with his father. Phineas mentions how pleasing the company of his travelling companion, his landlord, was.
